Description
A little cariño for the moments when you need it most.
Some days we laugh until we cry. Other days, we just need a good lloradita. Whatever the reason, Chillona is here to remind you that there's beauty in allowing yourself to feel.
Handwoven in Oaxaca, México, our Chillona tissue box sleeve brings warmth, culture, and generations of craftsmanship into your home. Designed with an open bottom, this cover slips over your existing tissue box, turning an everyday necessity into something a little more meaningful.
Made Possible by Many Hands
What looks like one simple object holds generations of knowledge, patient hands, and hours of work.
Each Chillona begins with ethically sourced fallen palm leaves, naturally dyed with earth pigments, carefully prepared strand by strand, and woven by hand by artisans in Oaxaca, México.
At Amarte, we believe in honoring both the craft and the people behind it. Through our fair trade principles, the price our artisans ask for their work is the price we pay. No bargaining, no negotiating their worth. Their time, knowledge, and generations of craftsmanship deserve to be respected.
Every weave carries its own character, and every small variation reminds us of the human hands that brought it to life. When you bring Chillona into your home, you're helping support the artisans and the continuation of their traditions, one handmade piece at a time. Because making room for our feelings can be beautiful, too.

about amarte
Amarte is a creative project born from the belief "El arte sana" which translates to "Art Heals."
Founder Patricia Galceran-Coli designs collections that merge tradition with self-love, ritual, and emotional expression. She turns healing into something tangible, through prints, ceramics, journals, and care packages made with deep intention, in collaboration with fellow artisans.
She share's her story because she believe's creativity isn’t just a talent, it’s a way of life.
If you’ve ever felt like your art didn’t matter, or like it was too late to come back to yourself, she hopes her work reminds you:
"You can start again. You can turn your pain into power."
"You can get curious again. And claim what’s always been yours."
